What is a sustainability objective?
The event management on line tool helps you to demonstrate the sustainability of your event, in order to do that you need to create at least one sustainability objective. This is the broad aspiration for your event. It might be to recycle all wastes generated from the event, or to procure 100% local suppliers. Once you have outlined your objective you can then create targets that align to this objective and work towards achieving them.
Why do I need to have sustainability objectives?
As part of demonstrating that your event is sustainable a broad sustainability objective is required. To achieve the BSI8901 standard at least one sustainability objective needs to be evidenced.
